About Scientel Wireless
Scientel Wireless began in 1992, as an electric utility consulting business, providing Microwave Backhaul system engineering services to electric utilities in the Midwest and Canada. Due to continued growth, Scientel added installation and integration services to the current consulting, engineering and project management offerings. The company expanded its services and support to include all of North America by opening an office in Canada.
Scientel started PCS and Cell Site Engineering, as an added value to its customers. The company incorporated Mobile Broadband Wireless Capability which gave Scientel the ability to offer complete solutions to all customers. Scientel was the first to install a true fixed Broadband Wireless Capability for the city of Buffalo, MN.
Co-founded in February, 2005 by Nelson C. Santos and Larry J. Dietrick, Scientel assets were purchased from the Wireless Division of Scientel America, Inc. The new company was created in response to the need for accountability and quantifiable results in the municipal and broadband wireless industry.
Scientel maintains relationships with global brands and corporations to design and engineer robust municipal broadband networking solutions that are truly municipal wide and not just pilots or proof of concept projects. Having several city wide network deployments, Scientel is clearly a prominent leader in the industry.
Headquartered in Lombard, Illinois, with offices in Plano Texas, Ontario Canada and Kaneohe, Hawaii Scientel Wireless is a single source for providing multi-site wireless communication systems to the municipal and business community. Since 1992, Scientel Wireless continues to deliver top quality services in consulting, design, implementation and support.
